Activities & Responsibilities Primary
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Mamaw’s Cafe & Catering – where our mission is to enrich the lives of our guests and our employees. We do this through superior quality food and beverages, legendary customer service, sales growth, cost controls, and treating our employees like family. We believe that our employees are our most important resource, and our success depends upon creating and retaining a staff capable of delivering an exceptional dining experience to every customer, every time.
- Make deliveries of our product to residential and commercial locations.
- Generate an efficient and timely delivery route that minimizes customer wait times when delivering more than one order.
- Learn the names and recognize regular guests.
- Record completed delivery orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register or POS system.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean and free of trash and debris.
- Accept guest payment, process credit card charges, and make changes (if applicable).
- Clean and maintain all equipment and work areas associated with the job function.
- Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to the restaurant manager.
- Listen to and resolve customers' complaints regarding services or orders.
- Assist with answering phones, taking orders, and preparing orders, as needed.
- Assist in the restocking and replenishment of products and supplies as stipulated in the shift duties.
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement.
- Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
- Fill in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
Activities & Responsibilities Supplemental
- Record sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery records.
- Provide sales promotion materials to customers.
- Sell food specialties, such as sandwiches and beverages, to office workers and patrons of sports events.

- Cash registers, Point-of-sale terminals, POS software, and workstations
- Personal computers, tablets, smartphones, and/or handheld devices
- Software - Office suite, back-office accounting, route planning, web-based applications, etc.
- Office equipment - fax machine, printers, phone systems, bar code reader
- Motorized vehicles (automobile, truck, van)
